The NFL announced on Friday that it would be canceling scouting visits to college facilities, and in response to the news, Pitt made the decision to indefinitely postpone its pro day. The event had been scheduled for Wednesday of next week at the team’s indoor practice facility on Pittsburgh’s South Side.
Pitt seniors potentially impacted by the postponement include Saleem Brightwell, Maurice Ffrench, Jeff George Jr., Will Gragg, Nakia Griffin-Stewart, Dane Jackson, Kylan Johnson, Aaron Mathews, Jim Medure, Jazzee Stocker, Nolan Ulizio and Amir Watts. They will still be able to speak with NFL scouts remotely, but no in-person contact is permitted.
