A pair of Pitt offensive linemen are up for one of the most prestigious awards in college football.

Well, as much as you can be up for anything on a preseason watch list, anyway.

Pitt tackle Brian O'Neill and center Alex Officer are both up for the Outland Trophy, given to the top interior lineman in college football. The award is open to both offensive and defensive players and Pitt has past winners from both sides of the ball as both Mark May and Aaron Donald won the award.

Earlier today, Jordan Whitehead was also in on the preseason watch list action as he was named as a potential candidate for the Nagurski Award.
