Pitt men’s soccer pulls another upset - this time over No. 7 Notre Dame

The Pitt men’s soccer team continued its unreal streak on Friday night. This time, it was No. 7 Notre Dame being upset by the upstart Panthers, falling 1-0.

In case you’ve lost count at this point, this is the third Top 25 team the Panthers have defeated in their past five games. Previously, they defeated No. 21 Syracuse and No. 14 Columbia. After falling to a ranked Duke team, they beat Penn State earlier this week.

What head coach Jay Vidovich has accomplished at the program is nothing short of miraculous. Pitt is not only remaining competitive with some of the best teams in the country but flat out beating them.
