Daniel Skillings, a shooting guard out of Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, announced his top 10 this week, and Pitt was among the schools that made the cut. The other nine finalists included Cincinnati, Georgia, Miami, Minnesota, NC State, Rhode Island, St. John’s, Temple and Virginia Tech.
Skillings’ list was derived from an offer sheet with 25 teams represented. Some of his cuts included hometown options Drexel and La Salle, in-state schools Penn State and Robert Morris, and Iona, Providence, VCU and Xavier.
The 6’6”, 185-pound shooting guard is considered a four-star recruit by Rivals, while 247Sports views him as a high-three-star prospect.
