Pitt hosted a number of recruits this weekend for their official visits, and Pitt was able to close on a big offensive lineman.
Williams is unrated on Rivals, but his recruitment is a little weird. He was initially being recruited by schools as a tight end (which is where most of his offers came from), but then kind of grew into an offensive line prospect which is where Pitt and West Virginia wanted him. Williams is 6'5 and anywhere between 265 and 275 pounds. Like I said, he's a lineman converted from tight end so he's a little like Pitt redshirt freshman Brian O'Neil in that regard.
