Former Pitt guard James Robinson won't be playing in the NBA anytime soon, but he will play professionally. The former Panther will be heading to Bosnia to play for BC Igokea.
As expected, Robinson didn't warrant much consideration in this year's NBA Draft. The Minnesota Timberwolves were said to have worked him out a little, but that didn't materialize into anything. Robinson, to my knowledge, also didn't play for any teams in the NBA's summer leagues.
He instead joins a long list of former Pitt players that have caught on overseas. The Panthers' official release states that at least 55 former Pitt guys have landed jobs in other international pro leagues outside of the NBA.
