Blowout wins have been few and far between for Pitt so far this year, but they had one on Wednesday with a comfortable 94-75 victory against Omaha.
Michael Young led the way with another great game with 24 points and Jamel Artis added 19. Those guys could have done even more damage had Pitt not pulled its starters early. Cameron Johnson, an emerging star of sorts for Pitt, had another strong game with 16. Also fresh off a 20-point game, Ryan Luther had 11 points to lead all bench reserves.
Things got off to a slow start as the Panthers had ten first-half turnovers (though they did fix that with only four in the second half).
