Pitt's recruiting class is being finalized, but the Panthers still have their eye on top prize, local defensive back Damar Hamlin.
Hamlin's decision is down to Pitt, Penn State, and Ohio State and the Panthers are right in the thick of things. On Thursday night, head coach Pat Narduzzi visited him (as did some others) in a final effort to close the deal. Hamlin recently announced that he will make his official decision on Monday at 6:00 p.m.
Playing for Central Catholic, Hamlin is rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals and regarded as one of the best defensive backs in the nation.
