Pitt was in the door relatively early for him, getting his initial verbal over the summer. But recently, it looked like he might have a change of heart as he decided on the whole 'Pick the hat' routine with Pitt, Virginia Tech, and Iowa State. But on National Signing Day, the hat he selected was that of the Panthers'.
Pine is a big get for the Panthers and per Rivals, his other offers reportedly included Cal, Georgia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and several others.
