The Pitt baseball team continued its recent hot streak last week. The Panthers not only won a mid-week matchup against Youngstown State, 9-5, but also took two games out of three from Boston College over the weekend.
The Panthers are 5-1 over their last six contests, improving their record to 17-11.
Unfortunately, this weekend’s games weren’t televised so you couldn’t watch the action. But the Panthers defeated the Eagles in the first half of a double header, 9-4, before taking Game 2 in extra innings, 6-4. On Sunday, the team was shut out, 8-0, but still won its second straight series by winning both games on Saturday.
