With more ACC revenue, Pitt's athletics department is in a good position to do more things in terms of facility upgrades. Athletics director Scott Barnes talked a bit about those to Craig Meyer of the Post-Gazette at the ACC spring meetings.
In addition to a long-term master plan, there are some facilities upgrades the school plans to make. Training facility upgrades on the south side were announced about a year ago and as Meyer notes, Pitt will be updating the turf there. Also previously announced were some significant upgrades to the swimming and diving Trees Hall facility.
