A controversial quarterback change helped spur Pitt to a big road W in Akron on Saturday.
It can't be denied. Pitt officially has a quarterback controversy. There were rumblings during training camp about transfer Nathan Peterman making things tough on Chad Voytik in training camp. Those rumblings continued with Voytik's less than impressive performance against Youngstown State and the coaching staff's decision to give Peterman some snaps.
Saturday's Turning Point of the Game doesn't do Voytik any favors, as putting in Peterman is what gave the Panthers a boost in their 24-7 win over the Zips at Akron.
