Pitt 10 1/2-point underdog to Miami

Pitt faces a stiff test in Top 25 ranked Miami in their ACC opener on Saturday. The Panthers get the game at home but, as expected, are underdogs to the Hurricanes.

The line opened with Pitt as a 10 1/2-point underdog to Miami. Not a huge surprise there and considering the Hurricanes’ ranking combined with Pitt’s inexperience and struggles this year, it’s hard to complain about it. Some might even say that the line isn’t big enough.

So far, Pitt has faced one ranked team in West Virginia and the results were a little mixed. The Panthers fell behind by more than 20 points in that game but fought back in the second half to lose by a respectable nine points.
