Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi secured his first commitment of the 2020 recruiting cycle on Saturday, as Sam Williams, a defensive end and tight end out of Calvary Christian Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, announced his intent to continue his athletic career at Pitt.
”Blessed and extremely honored to say that I am committed to play football at the University of Pittsburgh,” Williams said.
The 6’4”, 210-pound recruit was not evaluated by 247Sports, ESPN or Rivals during his high school career, but he drew the attention of several Division I programs nonetheless. Syracuse was the first to offer Williams on Jan.
