Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi landed his first commitment since the early signing period on Sunday evening, as Michigan graduate transfer Nolan Ulizio announced he would be joining the Panthers for the 2019 season.
The 6’5”, 291-pound lineman was considered a three-star recruit by 247Sports and ESPN when he committed to Michigan in 2015, but he also held a two-star rating from Rivals. The move also brings Ulizio closer to his hometown of West Chester, Ohio, where he was once a standout for Lakota West High School.
During his time with the Wolverines, Ulizio appeared in 17 games and played multiple positions along the offensive line, including left tackle, left guard and right tackle.
