Florida graduate transfer Kylan Johnson will join Pitt for the 2019 season, according to an announcement from Panthers head coach Pat Narduzzi on Wednesday afternoon.
Johnson, a former three-star recruit out of Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas, spent the past four years with the Gators, redshirting as a freshman in 2015 and maintaining letterman status from 2016 to 2018. He has one year of eligibility left and can play immediately.
”Kylan is a really smart player with a great nose for the football,” Narduzzi said of Johnson in a statement. “He can play either outside linebacker position and is a great fit for our scheme.
