The Pitt football program added a seventh recruit to its 2021 class on Monday, as Myles Alston, a wide receiver and defensive back out of Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, announced his commitment to the school. Alston is the third prospect out of Virginia to commit to Pitt’s 2021 class.
The 6’1”, 185-pound receiver and defensive back holds three-star ratings from both 247Sports and Rivals, and he selected Pitt out of a top seven that also included Appalachian State, Liberty, Ole Miss, Maryland, Virginia and Virginia Tech. Of the seven, the receiver appeared to give the most consideration to Virginia Tech, which he visited four times between 2018 and 2019, and Pitt, which he visited three times between 2019 and 2020.
