Pitt landed a commitment from a three-star defensive tackle tonight. Devin Danielson from Thomas Jefferson High School in the Pittsburgh area made the call to join Pitt’s recruiting class. Danielson checks in at 6’3” 290 pounds.
Danielson is graded as three-star by Rivals, Scout, and 24/7. Rivals.com names him the 21st best prospect in the state of Pennsylvania. Danielson had a total of 15 offers, and chose Pitt over his final group of Michigan State, Louisville, and Wisconsin. He also had notable offers from UCLA, West Virginia, and Iowa.
