Since Tino Sunseri graduated after the 2012 season, the Pitt football program has relied almost exclusively on grad transfer quarterbacks. While head coach Pat Narduzzi wants that to change, that trend could continue next year, as he mentioned this week.
“We don't want to have to take another grad transfer quarterback, but if we have to, we're going to take the best available,” Narduzzi said. “But we're going to do what's best for this program going forward.”
Pitt handed the reins to transfer Tom Savage in 2013 before Chad Voytik, a Pitt recruit, took over in 2014.
