Pat Narduzzi not concerned about early miscues against Villanova

Pitt defeated Villanova on Saturday, 28-7, but had some problems along the way.

There were some botched snaps, offensive line/blocking issues, missed field goals, and more. In addition, a fumble was forced and returned for a touchdown, accounting for the Wildcats’ points.

Pitt has work to do, but head coach Pat Narduzzi isn’t among those too concerned.

“I think we’ll be okay,” the head coach said. “I’m not worried. We’ll improve on that. We’ll make that improvement. I’m not worried at all.”

Coaches frequently like to express a lot of concern about mistakes. But while Narduzzi doesn’t want to see those kinds of errors that occurred Saturday, it doesn’t sound as if he’s going to be losing sleep over them, either.
