Pat Narduzzi and his staff continues to stay hot, as tonight the Panthers got a verbal commitment from 6'2" 200 pound wide receiver Juwann Winfree of Coffeyville (KS) CC. Winfree, who played in high school at Dwight Morrow HS in Englewood, NJ, originally committed to Maryland out of high school. At that time he had offers from the likes of Michigan, Michigan State, Georgia, and South Carolina. He played well as a true freshman at Maryland and caught 11 passes for 158 yards and 2 touchdowns for the season. He was suspended for the last two games of the season for undisclosed infractions, and eventually ended up at Coffeyville where he had 55 catches for 837 yards, and 7 touchdowns.
