Jordan Whitehead came away with ten tackles in Pitt’s loss to Miami on Saturday while Saleem Brightwell also turned in a solid game. But after banging my head off the wall since the game ended, I selected Quadree Henderson for the Panther of the Game.
Henderson hit paydirt for a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown that helped Pitt tie up the game early on. He also checked in with one catch to go along with 38 yards rushing, including a 22-yard carry.
Henderson’s jet sweeps helped keep the defense off balance and gained yardage. Of course, he also had a key fumble at the start of the second half.
