Panther of the Game: Nathan Peterman

Pitt had a lot of disappointment in yesterday’s loss to Northwestern, but they did manage a few bright spots. Matt Galambos turned in a 15-tackle performance and added a fumble recovery. Avonte Maddox added seven tackles, two passes defended, and an interception. Quadree Henderson had 166 total yards, but did have a costly fumble late in the game. Those players all deserve a special shout out, but we are giving Panther of the Game to senior quarterback Nathan Peterman.

When you look at his stats, they are not eye popping. He had some misfires early in the contest, but when you consider he played only three quarters, due to injury, his stats look even better.
