Panther of the Game: Jester Weah

The Pitt Panthers have been begging for someone to step up in the passing game this season. Many felt that they needed to simply give the players a chance to make a play. Well, in their 43-27 victory over Marshall, someone finally did. Yes, Nate Peterman had a strong performance, but it was wide receiver, Jester Weah, that takes home the Panther of the Game award this week.

Weah hauled in seven passes for 176 yards and one touchdown on the evening. More than one of those catches came on contested throws. Two of them came on important third down conversions, including the turning point of the game, late in the fourth quarter.
