THE OFFENSE
QUARTERBACKS
Senior Nathan Peterman returns as Pitt’s starting quarterback after throwing for 2,287 yards and 20 touchdowns with eight interceptions last year. Peterman joined the Panthers in 2015 as a graduate transfer from Tennessee and fully seized the starting job by the third game of the season. He went on to rank second in the ACC in completion percentage (61.
