This weekend, the No. 10 Pitt wrestling team concluded its regular season with a thrilling 18-13 win over No. 7 Virginia Tech.
The Panthers (10-4) had a challenging end to the season with duals against top ten teams North Carolina and Virginia Tech in back to back weekends. I selfishly wanted to see the team get a split there even if I knew it would be a challenge. The Panthers fell to North Carolina on Valentine’s Day, 22-14, but rebounded for the win over the Hokies (11-3) this past weekend.
The dual, as you might suspect, was not an easy one.
