Pitt head coach Jeff Capel and his staff landed the second piece of their 2020 recruiting class on Monday evening, as Max Amadasun out of Our Saviour Lutheran School in the New York City committed to the program. Amadasun had just taken an official visit to Pitt’s campus over the weekend and came to a decision shortly after concluding his trip to Pittsburgh.
The 6’10”, 230-pound power forward flew under the radar of most high-major programs and was not assigned a star rating by 247Sports or ESPN. However, he holds a three-star rating from Rivals and drew seven offers over the course of his recruitment.
