Pitt head coach Jeff Capel announced on Friday that fourth-year Pitt assistant coach Milan Brown had been promoted to the position of associate head coach. The title is already held by Tim O’Toole, but the move will not affect O’Toole’s status, as Pitt will simply have two coaches who hold the same title.
“Milan has done a terrific job in all aspects with our program,” Capel said. “Not only is he an outstanding coach and recruiter, but he does a great job mentoring our players off the court. I have been and continue to be impressed with his commitment to bettering our program, our student-athletes and the university.
