Former Pitt star Mike Young had a weekend to remember in the NBA G League. The Northern Arizona Suns forward set a team record when he put up 41 points on Friday after coming off the bench and followed that up with a 20-point, 13-rebound double-double on Saturday.
Young’s 41-point game broke a team record for points scored in a game previously held by Elijah Millsap, who scored 38 on April 1, 2017. His big night was the end result of an incredible shooting performance, as he made 65 percent of his 23 shots from the field, including 71 percent of his seven three-point attempts.
