Max Browne out for season with shoulder injury

Max Browne’s college career has come to an end due to the injury he suffered to his right shoulder against Syracuse on Saturday.

Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi announced on Thursday afternoon that Browne underwent surgery on his shoulder on Wednesday and will miss the remainder of the season as a result, according to Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The injury occurred in the third quarter of Saturday’s game, when Browne was sacked by Alton Robinson of the Orange. He came out of the game and was later seen on the sideline with his right arm in a sling.
