Pitt landed a commitment from a WPIAL offensive lineman on Monday morning, as Matt Metrosky of Greensburg Central Catholic accepted an offer to join the program as a preferred walk-on. Metrosky played as a center, guard and long snapper with the Centurions last season and should add some size and versatility to the Panthers line.
“I want to thank all of the coaches who have recruited me in this process and have given me an opportunity to play at the college level,” Metrosky wrote on Twitter. “All things considered, I am fired up to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Pittsburgh.
