First of all, let me say that I doubt that Pitt will fire Pat Narduzzi after this season. But there's always a chance that there's things going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. Is Narduzzi starting to rub people the wrong way? He does have an abrasive personality, and when you don't win, those kinds of personalities become even more abrasive. Maybe the players have had enough. Probably not, because most seem to like him a lot, but things change. We just don't know. So while it's possible that there's things going on that we don't know about, they probably won't fire him for football reasons.
