Former Pitt quarterback Logan Clouse entered the transfer portal in May, and on Tuesday, he announced that he will be moving down to the Division III level to play for Franklin & Marshall.
Clouse, a native of Mendham, New Jersey, came to Pitt as a preferred walk-on in 2020 but never seemed likely to move up in a crowded quarterback room. When he committed, Pitt had five quarterbacks ahead of him on the depth chart, including Kenny Pickett in what appeared to be his final college season. But Pitt then added Nate Yarnell to its 2021 class, and Pickett decided to come back for an additional season.
