The Buffalo Bills ended their 17-year playoff drought with a 22-16 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, but they lost the person who played perhaps the largest role in getting them to the postseason.

Bills running back and former Pitt star LeSean McCoy went down with an ankle injury in the second half of his team's Week 17 game and was carted off the field. He did not return to the game, but the X-rays on his ankle came back negative, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

At this point, it's unclear how long McCoy will be sidelined with the injury.
