Pitt great and current Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald topped 15,000 career receiving yards in his team’s Thursday night game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Fitzgerald reached the milestone after reeling in 10 catches for 113 yards in the NFC West matchup, which the Cardinals dropped to the Seahawks, 22-16. The performance bumped Fitzgerald up to 15,066 career receiving yards, which ranks sixth all-time behind Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Isaac Bruce and Tony Gonzalez.
According to the Cardinals, Fitzgerald, who is 34 years old, is the second-youngest player to amass 15,000 receiving yards in NFL history.
