Kenny Pickett becomes all-time touchdown leader at Pitt

Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett has spent his super-senior season rewriting the record books at Pitt, and on Saturday, he broke another program record, passing Dan Marino to become Pitt’s all-time touchdown leader.

During his illustrious college career, Marino accrued a total of 82 touchdowns, and in Pitt’s matchup with Miami, Pickett topped that, scoring the 83rd of his career. That score came on a pass from Pickett to Pitt receiver Jared Wayne in the third quarter that pulled the Panthers within seven points of the Canes.

Pickett entered the game with 62 career passing touchdowns, 18 rushing scores and one touchdown reception on the Pitt Special back in 2019 for a total of 81 touchdowns.
