Pitt will face off against Louisville on Tuesday night without its two top scorers, as Justin Champagnie and Au’Diese Toney will both miss the game due to injury issues. Champagnie and Toney both suffered lower-body injuries during practice over the weekend.
Champagnie, who leads Pitt in scoring and is averaging 17.8 points and 12.3 rebounds per game, is expected to miss six to eight weeks with a knee injury. The Brooklyn native has scored in double figures in all six games he has taken part in this season, and he has posted three double-doubles, including two in a row.
