While Darrin Hall won the ACC’s Offensive Back of the Week Award, safety Jordan Whitehead was a co-winner of the conference’s Defensive Back of the Week Award.
Whitehead had a big game for the Panthers on defense in the team’s 24-17 win over Duke on Saturday. He not only led the team in tackles with ten, but also had an interception in the contest. Whitehead would have had a second pick if it wasn’t for a penalty that overturned it.
Whitehead shared the honor with Virginia Tech’s Reggie Floyd, who returned an interception for a touchdown.
