Jared Wilson-Frame will remain at Pitt

Jared Wilson-Frame, Pitt’s top scorer from the 2017-18 season, will remain with the team after it was announced Tuesday that the university had hired Jeff Capel as its new head coach.

Wilson-Frame previously requested and was granted his release from the program on March 17, but it was reported by Mike Vukovcan of Pittsburgh Sports Now and confirmed by Craig Meyer of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that he has decided to play his senior season at Pitt.

Jared Wilson-Frame, Pitt's leading scorer at 13 points per game last season, will remain with the program, according to a source.
