Lost a bit in all of the hoopla after James Conner's knee injury in 2015 and later, his Hodgkins Lymphoma diagnosis, was the Pitt running back's eligibility going forward.
But some news broke during Pitt's spring practices this week in that Conner was listed as a redshirt junior on the roster sheet. Jerry DiPaola of the Trib seems like the first person to have noticed it. That means Conner would have received a medical redshirt for last year and actually has two seasons of eligibility left.
Getting a medical redshirt isn't all that surprising since Conner played only part of one game last season.
