Former Pitt standout Jamel Artis saw action in the second round of the 2020 edition of The Basketball Tournament with Sideline Cancer on Tuesday afternoon, helping the team to a 76-66 victory over Team Challenge ALS at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
For the second game in a row, Artis was included in the starting lineup of the purple-clad team and saw more than 25 minutes of court time, as he logged 27 minutes after playing 26 in Sideline Cancer’s 93-91 win over Team Hines on Sunday afternoon.
In just under a half-hour, Artis contributed eight points on 2-of-5 shooting from three-point range and a 2-for-4 showing at the charity stripe.
