Pitt landed in the top seven of Myles Tate, a point guard out of Dorman High School in Roebuck, South Carolina, on Wednesday night. The program is joined in the top seven by Appalachian State, Butler, Charleston, Murray State, Ole Miss and South Carolina, making Pitt one of three Power Five schools on Tate’s list.
“I just felt like they were the schools that wanted me and showed me the most love,” Tate told Phil Kornblut of the State of his top seven. “They made me feel like I was at home.”
Tate is considered a four-star recruit, according to 247Sports, which also ranks him as the No.
