Gerald Drumgoole verbally committed to Pitt back on Feb. 11, and he made his pledge official on Wednesday by signing his national letter of intent, according to an announcement from Pitt head coach Jeff Capel. The 6’6” small forward from Rochester, New York, is the first member of the 2019 recruiting class to sign with the program, and Capel commented on the development.
”Gerald is a proven winner with an outstanding approach to the game,” Capel said. “He is a selfless player willing to fill any role in order to help his team win. He has shown the ability to be an outstanding scorer as well as high-level defender and rebounder.
