It looks like former Pitt star Michael Young won't be playing overseas anytime soon.
Young signed a two-way contract with the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. Already playing for the team in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, Young accepted the deal to stick around.
The contract doesn't guarantee he will play in the NBA. Young will have the chance to make the roster or be assigned to the NBA Gatorade League, formerly the D-League, now known as the 'G-League' (no, you're not alone - I didn't get the memo, either. But it does mean that Young is ready to try to make it to the NBA instead of going the overseas route.
