Back in April, former Pitt guard Brianna Kiesel was taken in the WNBA Draft, becoming the second player in Panthers history to be drafted. She's now officially made the roster of the Tulsa Shock and has begun her WNBA career.
Steve Swetoha, the team's president, spoke about her being named to the roster:
"Brianna is a player that came into camp with a positive attitude," said Steve Swetoha, President of the Tulsa Shock. She is coachable and has a tremendous defensive skill set, not to mention her ability to create her own shot and her quickness.
