Former Pitt wide receiver Devin Street had another chance to impress an NFL team recently, but it didn't last long. The New England Patriots signed Street back in the beginning of May to give him a look, even using a waiver claim to secure his rights. But this week, they cut him again, releasing him on Wednesday. The Patriots reportedly waived him to make room for another receiver, Andrew Hawkins.
The Patriots have worked out Street before, signing him to their practice team prior to last season.
