Former Pitt forward Durand Johnson is transferring out of the program and looking for a new home. Johnson could be headed to a program familiar to the Panthers.
Johnson will reportedly visit both West Virginia and St. John's this week. It's going to be a busy couple of days for him as he'll check out the Mountaineers' program today before going to St. John's on Tuesday.
Both ties are interesting, obviously. He wouldn't face the Panthers unless it were as part of a postseason game, but playing at nearby West Virginia wouldn't exactly endear him to Pitt fans all that much .
