Former Pitt center Steven Adams is in his fifth year in the NBA with the Oklahoma City Thunder. And while his team isn’t looking so hot at 8-11, Adams is having the best year of his career so far.
We’re only about a quarter of the way through the season so Adams has a lot of work ahead of him. But so far, he’s averaging career-bests in points (12.4), rebounds (8.1), blocks (1.2), steals (1.4), and field goal percentage (64%).
Adams has also dramatically improved his work at the free throw line. Last season, he shot 61% from the stripe, which had been the best in his career.
