A few days late on this but ICYMI, a total of five Pitt baseball players were selected in the MLB Draft this past weekend.
We already covered T.J. Zeuch, who was a first-rounder and the highest Pitt selection in history. In addition, we touched on star shortstop Charles Leblanc, who went in the fourth round. After that, though, three other players were selected.
Catcher Alex Kowalczyk joined Leblanc with the Texas Rangers as he was selected in the 12th round. Outfielder Aaron Schnurbusch went in the 28th round to the Chicago White Sox.
