Ex-Pitt tackle Adam Bisnowaty cut by Minnesota Vikings

Former Pitt offensive lineman Adam Bisnowaty was released by the Minnesota Vikings earlier this week to make room on the roster for Stacy Keely, a defensive end out of UAB who impressed during the team’s rookie minicamp.

The Vikings currently have 15 offensive linemen on their roster, and Bisnowaty spent part of the 2018 season on their practice squad. Earlier that year, the 6’6”, 305-pound tackle briefly played in similar roles for the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers after he was waived by the New York Giants in May 2018. The Giants were also the team that brought Bisnowaty into the league with a sixth-round pick in 2017.
